For enrolment into all classes, please print and complete our Enrolment Form (PDF) — one form per student, please.
Email your scanned enrolment form to penny.gurner@gmail.com (our preferred option), or bring your completed form to your first class.
+ Ballet class enrolment...
Payment is by the term. 2 ballet classes weekly once available for the level attending is a pre-recquisite for participation in an RAD exam, Class Award, or Presentation Class at the end of the year. It is also strongly recommended in order to minimise disruption to other students and to make sufficient progress to maintain enjoyment.

Contemporary/Jazz program — payment is by the term.
Dance/Fitness Classes — payment is by the term.
Short-term Projects — Financial arrangements will vary, and the participants informed of details.
Fee structure and payments
Creative Kids and active kids Programs — fee subsidy vouchers
NEDT is a registered activity provider with the NSW Government’s programs Creative Kids and Active Kids. Parents, guardians and carers can apply for vouchers that subsidise fees for each student aged 4.5 to 18 years old enrolled in school.

Where the word "Plus" appears in the timetable, the following class can be added on to the previous as the one class, at that better rate for the combined time.
Students (18 years/u) enrolled in their 2 weekly Ballet-related training classes earn a 10% discount off all their classes of enrolment.
Adult-rate paying students, earn a 10% discount off consecutive classes of enrolment. This also applies to students 18 years/u who include a Pilates or Barre class (charged at the one rate for all) in their enrolment.

Additional information
+ Production fee...
Add $10/per student/per genre/per term fee total which is NEDT’s version of the common “enrolment fee” in many dance schools. It goes toward both the hidden and up-front costs of producing classes including relevant licensing, resource development, teacher CPD requirements, administration hours etc.
Note: Ballet and Conditioning classes are considered the same genre for this purpose.
+ Roll-over enrolments...
Enrolments for classes paid by the term will be considered to continue between terms of the year, unless sufficient notice is given of a student’s wish to withdraw. Students will be invoiced from the first lesson of the new term.
+ Scholarships...
There are part-scholarships available where economic circumstances and talent warrant assistance.
+ Private lessons...
- Private lesson fees are variable and can be negotiated between the student and teacher of their choice.
- Add $10 to the private lesson fee when using the NEDT studio as a contribution to utilities.
+ Payment of fees...
Please endeavour to pay term fees as promptly as possible from reception of invoice. There is a small financial penalty for payments later than 4 weeks without communication.

+ 'Make-up' Classes (for classes you miss)...
Make-up (for missed) classes outside of those of enrolment are encouraged (within the same term) where appropriate to ability and comfort levels. Please contact Penny to confirm intentions are possible ahead of attending.
