Why Dance?

Dance is a multi-layered creative activity for all age groups which promotes life-long health benefits. Dance offers individuals an expressive outlet that promotes wellbeing and confidence.

What is the New England Dance Theatre's goal?

Our goal is to be both a dance school and a vehicle for the development of dance relevant to the wider dance community.

We're aware that many students will choose alternative career-paths, the aspiration is for students to use their in-depth experience as contributing dancers, to further these other paths in significant ways.

Our students' achievements

We're very proud of Heather Gurner, Faith Hall, and Elayna Moens who all received 2017 Regional Youth Arts Awards in their age categories for outstanding choreography, contribution to peers, and other initiatives. Well done girls!
